Sodium Chloride CAS#7647-14-5
Sodium fluoride is an inorganic fluoride with toxicity and corrosiveness, presenting as a white crystalline powder or granular form. It is stable under normal temperature and dry conditions. However, it will react with strong acids (such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid) to form highly toxic hydrofluoric acid (HF). It is necessary to strictly avoid storing it together with acidic substances.
Product Usage
Sodium fluoride is mainly used in industrial fields (metallurgical flux, water treatment corrosion inhibitor, enamel glass opacifier), medical and oral care fields (anti-caries component in fluoride toothpaste, dental fluoride coating agent), agricultural fields (pesticide insecticide, trace additive in ruminant feed), and can also be used as a laboratory analysis reagent, welding flux and additive in lithium battery electrolyte.
